About
I leverage technology to drive ethical innovation and nurture social equity.
Spritz simplifies scheduling, payments, and communication for home service professionals. With house cleaning as our beachhead, our platform empowers users to easily manage clients, provide quotes, and offer instant booking.
Backed by Techstars and other notable investors, neu grossed ~$900,000, completed ~10,000 cleans, and hired 1000+ cleaners. We pivoted to Spritz to pursue a greater market opportunity.
Managing 15+ properties, Siegen peaked at ~$80K MRR. After regulatory changes capped growth, I achieved a modest exit to pursue other interests, with a partner absorbing my stake.
Tidy leveraged technology to streamline cleaning services for vacation rentals in Seattle. While in high demand, we strategically pivoted to neu with a vision to disrupt the service industry, recognizing broader pain points and a larger market opportunity. Although Tidy no longer operates, the experience and insights gained continue to influence my entrepreneurial journey.
Co-founded with friends post-college, Roomies addressed the challenge of finding a compatible roommate. Using a Tinder-esque UX paired with a detailed questionnaire, we aimed to connect people outside personal networks for shared housing. Although Roomies never made it to market, this venture taught us valuable lessons about marketplace dynamics, go-to-market strategies, and the critical importance of product scope that continue to influence my work today.
Originally UHub or the 'University Hub', MyNexus was my entry point into venture-scale entrepreneurship. Predating LinkedIn and Handshake, we aimed to level the playing field by providing students with a platform to promote themselves and advance their careers, similar to a national convention, to democratize job opportunities based on merit, not proximity. While we didn’t fully launch, the experience provided invaluable lessons, great friendships, and amazing memories.

Testimonials
Praise and perspectives from those who've worked with me.
Kwame is the epitome of the determined, gritty, thoughtful entrepreneur. I have had the pleasure of seeing him and his team work through extreme challenges to find success on multiple occasions - whatever roadblocks he encounters, he finds a way around them. Kwame also cares deeply about his people - he's a remarkably disciplined and effective leader, who has built and inspired a high-performing organization. I'm proud to be an investor in his company and even prouder to be able to call him a friend.
Passionate. Perseverant. Generous. Kwame is truly one of a kind. I have never met an entrepreneur who was as passionate and articulate about their customer and changing their life for the better. I had the chance to see how perseverant he was going through big, challenging, changes with his company and ultimately going in a new stronger direction for the same customer. I hope you get the opportunity to get to know Kwame like I do, so you can always see how generous he is in a million little ways from being dedicated to his beautiful family, a strong advocate for social issues, a thoughtful boss, an amazing mentor, and a fierce friend.
Kwame has a soulful and sensible approach to building businesses and teams that is rare and inspiring. He has an innate ability to take a broad range of ideas, feedback, and inputs and imbue them into his work. It is wonderful to partner with him and to build things together.
Kwame is a great manager, an outstanding professional, and above all, he is an amazing mentor. I admire him for his passion and commitment to work. He was always open to ideas and made me feel involved by asking my opinions on various issues. His domain knowledge and expertise in the field of operations is incredible, and the unique way he handles clients is remarkable. As the CEO, he has a large number of responsibilities. But even then, he always made sure to give me time from his daily schedule to guide me on various aspects of my day-to-day job activities. I feel really fortunate for having him as my reporting manager, and I strongly believe that Kwame would be a great addition and outstanding leader to any team.
Kwame is a helpful, thoughtful, and kind collaborator. He collaborated with me when my company went through Techstars Austin. If you get a chance to work with Kwame, I suggest you take it!
Kwame has a unique and unparalleled ability to not only envision and map out the 10,000-foot view but also understand all the moving parts needed to manufacture the machine to get there. In a world where, sadly, sometimes growth goals can demolish team morale and empowerment, Kwame stands in the margin as a strong advocate and leader for every human involved in the process. He models a self-examined type of leadership that I don’t see enough, owning his own opportunities to develop and persistently seeking to improve himself first.
